About

I'm a Tuscarora Native of North Carolina, born and raised with a deep admiration for the hidden gems of eastern NC.

Growing up in North Carolina, I developed a reverence for the landscapes most people pass right by — the quiet marshes, the morning mist rising off a coastal plain, the way golden hour falls differently here than anywhere else.

My Tuscarora heritage shapes how I see the land. These aren't just beautiful places — they're living, breathing parts of a story that stretches back long before a camera ever existed. Photography is my way of honoring that.

I work in available light, close to the ground, and as quietly as possible. Whether I'm waiting on a pelican to break the surface or watching fog dissolve over a field at dawn, patience is the most important piece of gear I carry.

The approach

Available light only

No flash, no artificial fill. Every image is made with what the moment offers.

Eastern NC roots

The marshes, fields, and coastlines of home are my primary subject and constant inspiration.

Patience over gear

The best shot comes from knowing when to wait, not from having the fastest lens.
